The Quarter Horse is right in style
For races of a quarter mile
And for handling cattle any place.
When you see it in a barrel race,
You will surely smile.
I wonder if, indeed,
The Quarter Horse is a breed.
Or is it just a type?
It gets a lot of hype
'Cause it has a lot of speed.
