PARROTS

How smart could be a parrot
If schooling could prepare it?
Have you any clues?
Had it any news,
Would it be glad to share it?

Could it only just repeat?
Or could it think upon its feet?
Could it cleverly converse
Or maybe compose a verse?
Wouldn't that be neat!
